I just finished my last graduate school application and decided I should reward myself by adding yet another project to keep up with this year. But this one will be different. I promise.
I am in my third year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and I will be graduating in just four months; May 12th here I come. I hope to continue my education in the fall at either UNC-CH or NC State University for social work. However, that is obviously contingent upon whether or not I gain admission (cross your fingers for me). My intentions for this blog are entirely personal but will undoubtedly include a breadth of my endeavors in academia. All of the content will reflect my own opinions and experiences as I perceive them. While I wish I could say any piece of advice I may offer is universally applicable, this cannot be true of any statement as I can only speak for myself. With this being said, I welcome any comments readers may have, especially on topics that call for discussion. To be frank, I am somewhat liberal and my posts are likely to reflect my views on a variety of primarily social issues. Today, I feel like I should state this sooner rather than later, though I hope to inform more than just like-minded individuals.
In short, I like to get to the point and hope that this may be of use or at least some entertainment to someone other than my mother (hi Mom). But I also thank my mother for inspiring me to pursue my passions and start this blog in the first place.
So with that, I hope you enjoy…
